Southeast-facing single parcel1.2 ha. lieu-dit Petit Pré, planted 1966-1977 over clay-limestone soil. Situated halfway between the village of Volnay and the RN74, abutting the village classification boundary, Russell Hone describes the parcel as a “baby Volnay”.

Viticulture:

Certified organic (Ecocert) and biodynamic (Demeter).

WineMaking:

De-stemmed and macerated for two weeks, followed by fermentation over indigenous yeasts.

Aging:

Aged for 18 months in older barrels.

Bottling:

Neither fined nor filtered.
