Planted in the 1990s. Slopes on right bank of Loire (original riverbed). South/ southwest facing. Admixture of Aeolian sand, silt and clay over Turonian limestone base
Viticulture:
Organic certified Ecocert and HVE (High Environmental Value). Grassing between rows. Guyot simple pruning. Yield 35 hL/ha.
WineMaking:
100% de-stemmed. 3–5 weeks cuvaison. Fermented over indigenous yeast in stainless steel tank with punch-downs. Complete malolactic conversion in tank.
Aging:
Aged for 4-6 months in stainless vats.
Bottling:
No fining but light filtration.
