1.2 ha. planted in the 1980s over Quatenary alluvial soils in Bennwihr.
Viticulture:
Certified organic (Ecocert) and biodynamic (Demeter).
WineMaking:
10-20% semi-carbonic maceration for the Gewurztraminer. 80-90% directly pressed. Each variety is vinified separately in stainless-steel tanks. Fermented over indigenous yeasts.
Aging:
Each variety is aged separately for 12 months in stainless-steel tanks, then blended.
Bottling:
Light filtration. Minimum sulfur addition at bottling.
