Vineyard:
Planted in the 1960s. Lieu-dit La Petite Charmotte is situated on the northern side of Nuits-Saint-Georges, toward Vosne-Romanée, on the eastern border with the Premiers Crus, south of Aux Allots and east of Aux Bousselots. The soil is a mixture of clay with a preponderance of limestone.
Viticulture:
Organic and biodynamic (not certified).
WineMaking:
100% whole cluster. Macerated for 10 days with 2 punch-downs total. Fermented over indigenous yeasts in stainless-steel tank.
Aging:
Aged for 12 months in used barrels (50%) and ceramic tank (50%).
Bottling:
Neither fined nor filtered. No added sulfur.
