0.5 ha. planted in 1972 on the hills above Saint-Jean de Muzols. The vineyard lies on a west-facing slope at an elevation of approximately 250m elevation in soil comprised of clay and schist.
Viticulture:
Organic (certified Ecocert).
WineMaking:
Whole cluster fermentation for 2 weeks in concrete over indigenous yeasts. Punctuated punch-downs and pumping-overs.
Aging:
Aged for 16 to 18 months in neutral oak barrels (5-9 years old).
Bottling:
Neither fined nor filtered. Free SO2, less than 3 mg/l.
