Situated within the 15.41 ha. Premier Cru climat, Clos des Chênes, the Lafarge parcel of 0.9 ha., southeast facing, was planted between1951 and 1971 over shallow, red clay soil with limestone bedrock.
Viticulture:
Certified organic (Ecocert) and biodynamic (Demeter).
WineMaking:
Fully destemmed and pneumatically pressed. Following a light settling (debourbage), the must is fermented over indigenous yeasts and racked into neutral oak barrels.
